NEWS Hi Gang,
2009 was a very productive year for me.
I recently completed my Christmas cd “The Greatest Gift,” and performed the title track at Trinity Church's “A Westchester Christmas” concert. Check out the music page on this website for more information about “The Greatest Gift.” The CD is now available locally here in Rye and online at www.cdbaby.com
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival, I formed “back to the garden 1969,” a Woodstock tribute band. We celebrated the anniversary in August at a great outdoor gig on Echo Island in Long Island Sound off of New Rochelle, NY. We have also performed to sold out houses of extremely enthusiastic crowds at The Towne Crier Cafe in Pawling, NY, and The Turning Point in Piermont, NY, two of the areas premier music showcase venues. Other gigs included the Fall Harvest Festival at Yonkers Raceway and also several local country clubs and music venues that had Woodstock anniversary celebrations. Due to the tremendous reception we have received (and also because we love the music) we will be continuing our performances into the new year. To find out more about the band, go to: www.backtothegarden1969.com
My third goal this year was to establish myself as a a performing singer/songwriter. I gave my debut performance at a gig with my friends Chris Brown, and Pete and Maura Kennedy. Included in the set were several unreleased new songs, including “Blue Angel,” “Wanderer,” “Solitary Dreamer,” “All Of The Years,” and “Zion,” as well as some of the material from my first CD “Into Light.” Sometime in the spring I will begin recording my next release, which will include all these new songs plus several others. Stay tuned.
Thanks to all of you who have shown such great support. It has been a blessing. We can't do it without you, the fans!
